SR Architectural Project Manager

Join the leading global coffee retailer HQ'd in Seattle and bring your senior project management experience to a motivated and innovated team. In this role, you will provide professional project management support of project initiatives driven by the Corporate Architecture department of our esteemed client. This is a contract role that's slated to be a one year contract and could extend or convert to FTE thereafter. Specific Project Assignments includes MSA Revision – including solving for ground lease and conversion projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead project teams and sub-teams to develop and implement medium to complex projects and process improvements
• Manage projects in accordance with industry standard project management methodologies, including all elements of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications
• Ensure that multiple projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results on time and within budget
• Create, maintains, and adjust project plans as needed
• Communicate and escalate, as needed, to ensure resolution of all project issues

Experience
• 7 years of project management experience, managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects including all elements of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications
• 7 years of working across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives
• 5 years requirements gathering and analysis to formulate business solutions and deliver effective results
• 2 years experience with legal contracts development (preferred)
• 3 years experience in architecture, design and/or construction industry (preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proven ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion
• Ability to define objectives, scope and resources for projects extending beyond a department or business unit
• Ability to establish and foster cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners and project teams
• Strong general business acumen
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation
• Change management skills – both organizational and project
• Ability to lead and mentor team members
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and MSProject
