Provides content strategy and copywriting on a dynamic team (UX and eBusiness) throughout all stages of the digital product cycle. Ensures web properties comply with branding guidelines, industry standards and best practices for content and readability.Monitors aspects of online content and makes recommendations for solutions as needed to satisfy user/business requirements.Able to handle smaller project/initiatives with minimal supervision.

Long-term contract (estimated 6 mos - 1 yr w/possible extension or conversion);eligible for health benefits and 401(k)

Duties and Responsibilities
· Act as a key member of UX team, understanding customer personas and goals
· Work with designers, product managers, web analytics strategist and business analysts as well as clients in marketing
· Produce key content deliverables across customer-facing web properties (website copy, e-mail, error messages, URLs, SEO headings, metadata, FAQs, content inventories, content mapping)
· Produce key deliverables and strategy for SEO optimization (keyword optimization, SEO report analysis, local search optimization, copy optimization, alt tags, etc.)
· Manage website information architecture
· Provide support for online product catalog (organizing the product taxonomy, writing descriptions, headlines, product titles, supporting content, etc.)
· Conduct content and SEO assessments, competitive assessments
· Accountable for Content and SEO Action Plans
· Develop, maintain, and enforce editorial style guidelines for online content
