SEO/SEM Manager

We are looking for a Search Engine Marketing Manager (SEO and PPC) who will be responsible for increasing traffic and revenue through search engines and social media. As a Search expert, you will be expected to have an advanced understanding of SEO tactics (including search engine algorithms and ranking factors) as well as best practices to maximize Pay Per Click (PPC) and Social Media Optimization (SMO). This person should have a strong understanding of how best to optimize organic and paid listings for the most profitable search program possible. It is also important you have a forward-looking approach to the search industry and the future of SEO, PPC and Social Media.

Job Function
• Drive process and oversee functions such as technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis.
• Review and drive recommendations to improve search engine accessibility for site architecture, navigation, and creative to drive implementation of improvements.
• Stay current on new SEO trends/practices and continually analyze and leverage the opportunities for growing organic traffic.
• Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and updating web site traffic reports, as well as reporting on monthly campaigns and statistical analysis.
• Develop new ways of driving traffic and manage the implementation with the help of development team.
• Responsible for in-bound and out-bound link development from relevant sites and directories, including leveraging social networking platforms/services for link building.
• Researches and develops SEM best practices to identify new market opportunities and maximize traffic growth and identify a robust SEO keyword list.
• Work with the consumer marketing team, creative services, PR, and the IT team to provide business intelligence, performance analysis and recommendations.
• Provide Search best practices and recommendations for new products and emerging channels i.e, mobile and social media.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years experience but preferably 5-7 years managing search engine optimization
• Aggressive, goal-oriented, results driven-focused on achieving goals & success of programs.
• Experience in marketing with excellent project management and cross functional skills.
• Skilled at managing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks, with strong planning and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of HTML is helpful

Education/Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years experience, but preferably 5 – 7 years, managing Search Engine Optimization
• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study, MBA or commensurate experience preferred
