SEO Specialist

Growing Ecommerce company seeks SEO Specialist who will focus on the development and implementation of a unified and comprehensive SEO and Content strategy. The SEO Specialist will work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising and IT to assess and optimize the existing website, develop content and strategize on appropriate distribution channels.

The ideal candidate possesses experience and knowledge in Search Engine Optimization as well as experience with SEO analytics and reporting. The SEO Specialist will have an analytical mind who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, pays strict attention to detail, is quick to take initiative, and can synthesize data into comprehensive insights.

The SEO Specialist will:
• Implement strategic action plans to accelerate the achievement of long and short-term SEO objectives, principally related to new customer acquisition and profitability; plans will include key initiatives and strategies
• Utilize a strategic thought process that incorporates demand and site metrics to determine appropriate keyword targets
• Help develop a SEO content marketing program through the analysis of existing content, competitive research, keyword targeting goals and partnership with our branding and content teams.
• Develop targeted creative assets such as articles, infographics, interactive and videos that drive toward SEO goals
• Develop external optimization strategies that include high-quality tactics
• Track, refine and analyze metrics, including referrals, link popularity, rankings, traffic and conversion using tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, SEOMoz, SEMRush, AuthorityLabs, SEO Clarity, BrightEdge and Majestic
• Monitor Industry activities, trends (both competitive and best in class) to develop benchmarking analysis
• Research and develop company SEO best practices to identify new market opportunities and maximize program profits with improved organic rankings
• Work with paid search team to maximize synergies between paid and organic search
• Provide SEO support to internal teams for ongoing web projects, including new product launches, page refreshes, and site redesigns
