SEO Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an SEO expert to join a fun team and help build their SEO Program. If selected, you’ll have a strong brand, the support of both Product and Marketing, millions of user reviews, video assets and a company-wide desire to see SEO succeed. 

The right candidate loves all things SEO, and is extremely detail-oriented. Your role will involve identifying options that consumers search for, developing content strategies around them, and helping to drive their development forward. You know the ins and outs of SEO, and are not a generalist in digital marketing, but a true specialist in SEO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Traffic, Product, and Acquisition goals as a channel contributor
  • Work with Product and Editorial teams to develop, and implement, a cohesive content plan
  • Optimize and test page titles and descriptions
  • Ensure proper JSON-LD markup, or content structure, for all pages to maximize snippet opportunities and Quick Answers
  • Report on rankings and traffic in a clear, concise manner that can be easily digested by C-Level leaders
  • Maintain and optimize the internal linking strategy to ensure competitive pages have the highest visibility
  • Leverage all content assets to gain exposure in all aspects of Search
  • Present clear business cases, and understand project scopes

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of SEO excellence with an enterprise-level site ( At least 80% of your experience will be in-house. We aren't looking for agency folks here)
  • Knowledge of UGC Best Practices, and the ability to help gather the content in the way that maximizes distribution across attributes
  • Experience with 3rd Party tools (Brightedge, Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics metrics and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker) and Excel skills
  • Strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented
