Our client is seeking an SEO specialist!

Job Description

Purpose: Maintain responsibility for completion of a large number of tasks required for each website project or digital marketing services client. Be a strategic contributor to each project, adding value for what should be considered from a technical search engine optimization perspective, and what should be considered from a quality user experience perspective.

This is not a client-facing role. Our team members take pride in serving and supporting our clients by understanding their customers, and ensuring the websites we build, meet the needs of their customers, with an optimized user experience.

Duties include:

Complete - Be the master checkbox completer for each website project; maintaining responsibility for the majority of SEO tasks for each project.
Research - Gather information about the project and goals. Conduct research to supplement knowledge, including keyword research, user research, competitive research, market research, etc.
Optimize - Ensure clients’ websites are optimized by writing title tags and meta descriptions, implementing best practice SEO on-page signals, promoting client’s USP, and ensuring brand consistency.
Redirect - Lead a rigorous program of implementing and testing 301 redirects to ensure successful website migration prior to site launch, day of site launch, and maintaining post-go live.
Audit - Audit websites for SEO health, user experience, and conversions; provide explanations and recommendations for how to address issues.
Fix - Correct optimization issues that may arise and help identify areas of improvement to ensure success of our clients’ marketing programs.
Report - Assist in completing and analyzing reporting.

Required Skills:

Forward thinking with a passion for digital marketing; must research new developments and trends in digital marketing
Strong analytical abilities to identify trends and patterns
Ability to communicate well with clients as well as all levels of internal management and co-workers
Ability to balance demand and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to react quickly under pressure
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a team
Strong attention to detail and outstanding sense of organization
Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Basecamp and Wordpress
Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Previous relevant experience in a professional setting
