Our client is seeking a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategist to join their team!! The SEO Specialist will be reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and will be ensuring all groups are informed and updated on SEO best practices. The role is mainly responsible for executing on the SEO strategy spanning across content, technical and off page strategies to ensure maximum value is extracted from Search Engines.

A day in the life of the SEO Specialist will consist of the following;

• Manage day to day implementation of search engine optimisation tactics for multiple business lines.
• Perform technical SEO audits and prioritise recommendations.
• Perform Content Audits and analysis to help inform content strategy
• Monitor and report on SEO rank, visibility and traffic changes daily / weekly.
• Manage and evolve an analytics capability and reporting framework for SEO through the use of appropriate tools (e.g. Google Analytics, webmaster tools, keyword research tools, competitor monitoring tools, rank tracking tools).
• Offer strategic input and recommendation for optimisation of Digital Marketing and website optimisation leading to higher conversion rates for Organic traffic.
• Collaborate with the wider team of digital specialists (Paid Search, Social, Display, remarketing).

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria;

• At least 5 years of SEO experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of algorithmic updates and impacts, SEO trends and tactics.
• Deep understanding of technical SEO: Crawling, mobile SEO considerations, Structured Data, sitemaps, SEO migrations, LSI.
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent.experience).
• Manage and implement a wide range of SEO initiatives with demonstrated positive results.
• Experience with SEO Research Tools, including, but not limited to: moz.com,OSE, ahrefs.com, Google Search Console and Majestic SEO.
• Experience using crawl testing tools such as ScreamingFrog or DeepCrawl.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / jQuery skills highly regarded.
• Experience in log file analysis.
• E-commerce experience with a thorough understanding of online consumer behaviour.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify, gather, collate and interpret relevant data.
• Landing page optimisation and general conversion rate optimisation experience a plus.
• Ability to use a CMS to update content for SEO
• Mature communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expert Microsoft Excel skills.
• Commercial/results focus in line with defined operating outcomes.
