SEO Manager

Our client, a leading provider of high-quality online marketing services at reasonable rates, is looking to add a full-time, temp-to-perm SEO Manager to their already dynamic (and quickly growing!) team of creative marketing professionals! This position will manage a team of local SEO Specialists to increase the organic (non-paid) web presence on search engines and online directories for various clientele.

The SEO Manager will use his/her search engine marketing expertise to lead and develop SEO Specialists who will use best practices to increase organic unique visitor volume to client websites. The SEO Manager is responsible for setting the SEO division’s strategy and supervising the SEO division’s operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and mentor SEO team
2. Develop local search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for clients
3. Establish and grow a cost-effective, ROI-positive local SEO services platform that provides sustained, white-hat organic search engine results growth for the franchisees.
4. Direct the Local SEO Team towards successful implementation of the SEO strategies across clients sites, in line with the business objectives of each site.
5. Manage SEO tracking and project management software with reporting
6. Identify and recommend new opportunities for improving local organic search rankings, traffic and conversion rates on the clients sites
7. Prepare for and respond to search engine algorithm changes and drive technical changes for improving performance.
8. Monitor, analyze and report on overall clients’ SEO performance on a weekly basis.
9. Ensure implementation of division best practice guidelines and documentation.
10. Provide training to SEO employees focused on SEO best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in website management, white-hat search engine optimization (SEO), online search mediums and social media.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
• Fluency in Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are a must.
• Knowledge of other SEO tools such as Raven Tools, MOZ, Screaming Frog and Xenu are a plus.
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated, confident and passionate about SEO and overall internet marketing
• Capability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Problem solving and analysis skills in situations where only limited standardization may exist
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and presentation material
• Capability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, peers, and clients
• Experience in introducing and training employees on complex or unfamiliar projects and programs
