Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to join our innovative and growing Digital Marketing department in Plano, TX. The SEO Manager will be responsible for building links, analyzing websites, optimizing websites and other content, creating content (videos, articles, etc), and more. You must be able to think quickly on your feet, solve problems, and work with an expanded team to improve websites overall. This position will report directly to the VP of Digital Marketing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding our company strategy and competitive positioning, design and execute a roadmap for SEO optimization.
• Establish productive and efficient communication channels within development teams, marketing, and internationally to ensure priorities are aligned, plans are clear and well articulated, and results are clearly measured.
• Be a driving force in ensuring all parts of the business understand and agree with your SEO standards and philosophy and align resources within Engineering teams, Product Development, Social Media and International markets to reach our goals.
• Monitoring search results for key search teams across multiple search engines.
• Ensuring our brands are protected online (Reputation Management) and our best content is found by consumers.
• Be responsible for optimizing all content on our sites including copy, blogs, press releases, and more.
• Ability to design measurable experiments, while carefully quantifying KPI’s and quickly applying what you’ve learned as a means to improve results.
• As an accomplished leader, you will attain buy-in from stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve the clear objectives you provide.
• Utilize & stay up to date on industry tools
• Executing on the tactical implementation of your SEO standards and roadmap to deliver impeccable results.
• Analyze and monitor key sources of traffic for the company and competitors.

Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of site architecture, keyword generation, search friendly content, link building strategies, blog optimization, video optimization, and associated metrics is required.
• Must be familiar with HTML, PHP and CSS.
• Must be familiar with the latest software, technology and methods for effectively leveraging them to improve SEO efforts.
• Must have an understanding of our industry and be comfortable creating content to support our SEO efforts..
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
• Must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
• Must have the ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands.
• Excellent planning, analytical, and personal management skills.
• Manage SEO content creation process and strategy
• Data mining web analytics to develop new keywords.
• Creating article titles, title tags, and content to target specific search terms.
• Collaborate with writers to develop keyword-targeted content.
• Copy editing and reviewing written SEO articles
• Implement link building strategies (white hat only)
• Competitor site analysis
• Reporting on traffic, rankings, link building, and reputation management.
• Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
• Comfortable with many industry tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Compete, SEOMoz, MajesticSEO, Open Site Explorer, SEM Rush, Pitchbox, etc) and willing to pitch how the company should hone its investment in and use of these tools going forwarding.
• Back link strategy and implementation

Qualifications:
• Must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• 3+ years experience creating and implementing SEO strategies for large brands.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, university, (or equivalent) in Arts or Science with an emphasis in computer science, information technology, website development, marketing, or related field is preferred
• Experience developing and executing successful SEO strategies and practices.
• Proficient experience with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as Photoshop and WordPress.
