We are currently recruiting for an SEO Manager to join a high-end creative advertising agency on a temp-to-perm basis. The agency provides a full-service solution to their clients, combining expert teams across art direction, stills and moving image, digital design, strategy, PR, casting and artist representation. Their digital team produce a range of integrated campaigns, mobile applications, online magazines and e-commerce websites for clients across the fashion, luxury and beauty sectors; including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Armani and Chanel.

Job description

You will provide strategic oversight, website audits; manage content-led SEO projects, keyword research and link-building campaigns, reports on campaign performance and analysis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage & develop SEO strategy for the agency's clients. Resource and manage internal and external relationships that impact the success of client SEO campaigns.
• Identify potential new business & growth opportunities.
• Ensure client profitability through awareness of client revenues.
• Work towards, and help develop where needed, client KPI's on an on-going basis.
• Build on internal client relationships & general understanding of SEO across the business.
• Pitching to high profile clients which will see you work with managing partners and other parts of the business to deliver a strategy for the pitch backed up with latest SEO data and insights.

Person Specification


1. Relevant degree.


2. Extensive SEO experience.
3. Agency side experience
4. Planning and implementing SEO strategies & campaigns.
5. Working with web development teams, whether through agencies or direct liaison.
6. Previous experience of working within the fashion, luxury, beauty or high-end products industry.


7. Expert working knowledge of Google Analytics and other Web Analytics packages.
8. In depth and current SEO knowledge and a passion for all things digital.
9. Good understanding of how Social Media can be utilised for SEO.
10. Good understanding of PHP, ASP, JavaScript and Flash.
11.  Knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web programming platforms.


12.  An ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical people.
13.  Strong interpersonal/ client facing skills.
14.  High levels of competency in presentation, written and verbal communication.


15. Natural ability to build relationships.
16. Team player.
