My client, a California based Software Giant is looking for an SEO manager to join their casual award-winning London Office. This is a 12 month contract with the intention for the role to go perm. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone in a perm role to get into a lucrative long term contract with the option to go perm at the end!

You will be responsible to define & implement a winning SEO strategy by providing on/off-page SEO recommendations to improve search rankings based on keyword research & SEO audits and producing SEO reports to monitor performance and ROI. Your ultimate goal will be to attract, delight and convert new customers in the UK. Working in partnership with all cross-functional marketing stakeholders, you will ensure the successful execution of a world-class SEO strategy.

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Head of Web Marketing, you will be expected to:
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly SEO reports that show search trends, page & keyword rankings against competitors, organic traffic levels and conversion rates
• Create and maintain a roadmap with clear actions to improve our mobile & desktop SEO performance against KPIs
• Project manage the successful execution of SEO recommendations across all web assets (website, blog, social media pages/posts, app store pages, etc) in partnership with the cross-functional Marketing team
• Explore innovative ways to generate incremental organic top of the funnel traffic and conversions from both mobile and desktop users
• Work with the PR team, social media manager and wider marketing team to implement an effective link building strategy to amplify SEO results and improve domain name authority
• Conduct frequent technical SEO audits and provide backend optimisation recommendations (robots.txt, sitemaps, redirects, site speed, etc)
• Define and execute strategic A/B tests by leveraging key customer insights to drive traffic and improve the conversion rate
• Administer webmaster tools, XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, etc
• Work alongside the Global SEO team to share best practice findings
• Stay up to date on latest SEO, search engine, social media and online marketing industry trends
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in an SEO role on agency or client side
• Excellent English writing skills
• Strong understanding of PPC strategy and keyword optimization principles
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with clear examples of using data actively for target setting, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations
• Extensive knowledge of popular keyword analysis tools such as Google, SEOClarity, Brightedge, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery or similar
• Experience of using web analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Operates independently and efficiently to successfully manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects simultaneously – Not afraid to roll-up their sleeves to get the work done
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and using a CMS
• Proven experience and passion to facilitate social media programs to drive business results and willingness to take risks
• Influences effectively and builds strong relationships to deliver outstanding results end-to-end with limited resource
• High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Demonstrates ability and self-motivation to excel within an environment of change, start-up mentality and a drive for continuous improvement
