SEO Manager

Our client is a digital marketing agency looking for a contract-to-hire, 40 hours/week, SEO manager that can join their team on-site in San Francisco! Candidates will report to the Digital Marketing Lead and can speak to data beyond a strategic level.

Job Responsibilities:
- SEO expertise: SEO expert with a history of driving results with organic search.
- Extreme dedication to quality: you do what you say, when you say you’ll do it—and you do it well.
- SEO audits: keyword research, writing overall strategy, backlink profile analysis and technical review
- Review/presentation of findings to the internal team
- Monitor, analyze and report on metrics from various sources, like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Moz, Stat Search Analytics, etc.
- Proactively recommend and take actions to enhance overall search and marketing performance, prioritizing according to size of opportunity and level of difficulty.

Must Have:
- 5+ years experience in SEO
- Mastery of the fundamentals: page titles, meta tags, headers, URL structure, link anchor text.
- Intermediate HTML skills—ability to hand code W3C compliant XHTML is preferred.
Experience with web analytics tools such as GA and Adobe Analytics. Must be comfortable manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data in order to make actionable recommendations.
HODeep understanding of the interplay between SEM and SEO, and background guiding collaboration between paid and organic teams.
