SEO Content Writer

The SEO Content Writer is responsible for collaborating with the management team and others,
The most important requirement of this job is that the candidate must have demonstrated professional
writing experience. Ideally, the candidate will have experience writing for a web-based audience as well
as a working knowledge of search engine optimization best practices and how they apply to content

Candidates should provide samples of the following along with their resume: press release, product brochure/sell sheet, e-mail blast/postcard campaign, spotlight story/case study, white paper/multi page document, blog, content article.

In addition to writing press releases candidates should also explain their PR role (we’re looking for someone to foster relationships with Pub editors, selling/pitching stories.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer, strategist, collaborator, and passionate about developing effective content that conveys the company's message and brand.

The SEO Content Writer works closely with the management team and others to define, communicate, and execute all SEO goals and objectives. They use business data, keywords, and topical information to formulate annual editorial calendars. In addition to owning all organic SERP performance goals the SEO

Content Writer acts as the voice for the company by promoting content articles to relevant online and print trade publications.

This role requires extensive SEO writing experience in a corporate environment as well as handling multiple projects simultaneously.

SEO Content Writer Job Duties:

• Responsible for writing all online and offline marketing communications

• Writes, edits and applies SEO best practices to all copy to increase SERP performance

• Drives the search for references and success stories (case studies) and assist in getting leads and approvals.

• Creates and pitches press releases to relevant media outlets

• Teams with HME marketing group and external consultants to define and communicate SEO

goals and objectives

• Identifies communication needs of the various HMEW markets and executes SEO solutions

• Creates and maintains the relationship with online and print trade publications

• Places stories in national outlets that position HMEW as the leader in the paging business

• Work closely with marketing and consultants to develop and communicate long and short- term online content strategies

• Continuously builds knowledge of online and offline best practices
