SEO / Content Director Job Summary:

Our digital agency is seeking a savvy digital leader to drive content and digital strategy. This role will focus on developing all aspects of SEO, social media, and execution of strategic and operational initiatives to support awareness and audience engagement. The Director of Content and Digital Marketing will report into the VP of Brand Marketing and Communications and collaborate closely with the Brand Communications, Creative, and Revenue Marketing Leaders.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a content strategy that delivers against audience awareness, engagement and conversion
Create and manage the operational testing and measurement process around social, digital and content strategies
Oversee the creation of brand awareness campaigns and programs
Effectively manage the development and spend of brand advertising investments
Drive SEO strategy across all aspects of content and digital property management
Work closely with the social media team to define and solidify the brand voice, tone and identity across media channels
Create a regular cadence for reporting and an action plan for improvements
Oversee outside partners to deliver against content and digital programs
Develop the requirements for tools and content management for annual planning efforts
Manage a team of developers, community managers, content strategists, and program managers to deliver against brand marketing KPIs
Requirements:

7-10 years of experience in SEO and social media
B.S. required and a M.S. preferred
5 years experience leading and managing teams
Proven results in driving and executing brand programs and strategic content development
