SEM Manager

The SEM Manager will bring in-depth knowledge of SEM best practices and a proven track-record of managing, optimizing, and growing paid search and display campaigns with a focus on ROI performance. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level with a desire to drive efficient campaign results through the use of data analysis and testing. The manager will develop strategic plans and budgets for search which will drive student lead generation for state universities in degree programs across healthcare, education, business and criminal justice.

Responsibilities:
 Responsible for budget, goals, and schedule of all paid search, display and social initiatives.
 Manage SEM/PPC programs through design, development, and management, including: campaign structure, keyword research, keyword management, keyword bidding, ad copy writing, A/B testing, landing page optimization, and any other core capability required to maximize results, drive volume, and hit key metrics.
 Research and evaluate keywords, market behavior, trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
 Manage daily, weekly and monthly account performance reporting and analysis
 Work closely with the company's in-house creative and technology teams to continuously improve the online experience.
 Leverage a "test, measure and refine" approach to consistently improve program results and increase the impact of online marketing for student acquisition and profitability.
 Refine and expand analytics, including click-attribution, as a key marketing point-person to influence development of next-generation internal reporting capabilities.
 Excellent analytical skills and attention-to-detail coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to excel in a low structure, innovative and high accountability culture while embracing change and growth.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor level degree required
 Experience managing accounts in the various different SEM platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, etc.) required
 Excel skills required
 Education experience would be a plus
 Highly analytical.
 5 years of experience in digital marketing is preferred
 Demonstrated ability to analyze data
