SEM Analyst

As a Search Engine Marketing Analyst for our client, you will be responsible for the tactical execution of the search marketing strategy for some of the most recognizable brands in the world. The objective of this position is to develop, implement, optimize and report on search marketing initiatives for our client in order to meet the goals of marketing and technology stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation and management of Paid Search campaigns and ensure they are setup to track properly with Omniture and internal reporting tools
  • Work directly with major search engines to create keyword and copy proposals for new campaigns or accounts based in objectives of marketing partners
  • Review and optimize accounts daily in order to maximize efficiency based on account objectives and ensure they are hitting spend goals
  • Manage and execute assignments against multiple close in deadlines
  • Manage bid rules and optimization at the campaign, ad group and keyword levels to drive account performance
  • Utilize Omniture and internal reporting tools to create weekly SEM reports for Account Managers that summarize the performance of accounts for the previous week
  • Work with peers to define policies, processes and procedures to ensure a smooth environment that meets all stakeholder requirements
  • Execute and report on testing initiatives to test ad copy and landing page variations
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes for meetings with key business partners
