Our client is a nationally recognized communications and issues advocacy firm, and they are looking for a Search Engine Marketing Analyst to join their Washington, DC office
Job Summary: Work collaboratively with media and account staff to design, implement, and optimize paid search and social media channels on an ongoing basis. Manage paid search campaigns with a high level of expertise.
Essential Functions:
• Quickly and efficiently develop and manage PPC campaigns.
• Monitor, optimize, analyze, and report paid SEM and Social Media campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research for paid search campaigns.
• Prepare audience segments and targeting for Social Media campaigns.
• Implement best practices across campaigns and testing initiatives.
• Establish a consultative relationship directly with media buyers and account staff and continuously adjust strategy and tactics to achieve client’s goals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and apply relevant learning to work
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
• 2 years of experience in managing Paid Search (Google, Bing, & Yahoo!) and paid Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) campaigns.
• Strong analytical and logical skills with an ability to understand paid media concepts quickly.
• Has previously managed conversion programs through paid search or social media advertising.
• Must be Google Adwords certified or able to qualify within 1 month of hire date.
• Paid search experience in the political, issue, and advocacy space is a plus.
• Experience in managing display campaigns and working within an ad serving platform is a plus.
