SEM & Programmatic Manager to join the UK marketing team for a 12 month contract (full time) with a view of becoming permanent at our London office near Victoria station.

You will be responsible to drive our online acquisition strategy across SEM, Programmatic and social media to attract, delight and acquire new customers throughout the UK. Working in partnership with media agencies and the wider cross-functional marketing team, you will ensure the successful creation and delivery of world-class digital campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Senior Web Marketing Manager, you will be expected to:
• Deliver an innovative online acquisition strategy/roadmap to grow top of the funnel traffic & conversions to reach our ambitious growth targets
• Work closely with media agencies to expand & optimise our SEM, programmatic, video and social media campaigns for both desktop & mobile users
• Refine our messaging, bidding and targeting tactics to take full advantage of customer trends and niche opportunities
• Prepare & maintain weekly traffic, engagement and conversion forecasts broken down by channel
• Keep track of daily conversions and investigate any trend abnormalities (together with the Web analytics team)
• Define & execute frequent strategic A/B tests based on customer data, campaign results and web analytics data to improve the end-to-end web experience and increase conversions
• Work with the design team, marketing managers and web developers to deliver new creatives assets for campaigns (banners, landing pages, etc)
• Develop strong working relationships with global teams and external vendors to execute web projects
• Prepare & present meaningful weekly/monthly reports highlighting campaign performance, changes in trends, impact of optimisation efforts and provide actionable recommendations
• Manage and monitor a multi-million pound media budget

The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand our value proposition and translate the strategy into compelling web experiences. Working as part of a dynamic team, in a fast-paced environment, they will have a good blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, tactical “know-how” and not be put-off by rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience managing an ecommerce site and full-spectrum paid media campaigns
• Experience of running & optimising integrated online campaigns and sales promotions
• Experience in forecasting accurate web targets based on seasonality and online trends
• Highly analytical with the ability to analyse large data sets from various sources to generate clear insights with actionable recommendations
• Excellent understanding of SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Video advertising, mobile marketing, affiliates, campaign tracking and web optimisation best practices
• Comfortable with using complex web analytics tools such as Adode Analytics, CrazyEgg, ClickTale, etc to identify optimisation opportunities
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams located in different time-zones
• Ability to analyse issues, find solutions and influence key decision makers to reach desired results
• Experience in using A/B testing tools to test hypotheses and improve online conversion rates
• Outstanding communication skills (both spoken & written) and comfortable with presenting to large audiences and senior stakeholders
• Advanced Excel & PPT skills
