Retention Member Engagement Manager

My client is seeking a Retention Member Engagement Manager to join their gaming/multimedia team for a 9 – 12 months maternity cover starting the 1st October (or as close to this as possible). They will be a specialist in Retention Member Engagement within subscriptions to ensure that organisations maximize the ways that they retain members. They will be supporting 26 countries to provide and translate data to ensure that the business can understand the level and impact of churn with its members.

They will work closely with the Global team and EMEA as a specialist in Retention Member Engagement to support the different markets and provide expertise in churn. They will act as the voice of the customer to ensure that they can influence the business in the best ways to retain the customer.

They will be excellent in Excel, Analytics and Data driven marketing working in large volume data sets. They will have a degree in Business and Marketing or similar with excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

They will have come from an industry background which deals in subscriptions such as Telecoms (BT, O2, Orange etc.), Entertainment (Sky, Virgin Media etc.), Credit Cards etc. Or will have worked within a Marketing Agency having deal within Subscriptions for an organization such as this or the banking industry. They will have more a consumer marketing background on the CV rather than B2B marketing within a similar role.

They will be a driven, dynamic, self-starter who will be comfortable within a driven, dynamic team that enjoy a good banter. They will need to have a good sense of humor and enjoy fun while being able to manage teams and individuals to ensure that the Retention objectives are met.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1) Essential Experience
• Experience in a subscription based business
• Work history in CRM Agency or Client Side in a CRM role
• Experienced in campaign delivery/ project management across Multiple Countries
• Agency liaison experience
• Strong communication, cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to influence

2) Technical/Functional Skills
• Data Driven Marketing Experience
• Established & proven understanding of Digital Marketing

3) Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills
• Self starter and results driven individual
• Confident Presenter
• Analytical Outlook

4) Qualifications
• B.A. degree required, graduate degree or relevant work history.
• IDM/CiM Qualifications a bonus

This role will have a 2 stage interview process

The role is paying between £55000 – 60000 and we ideally need a candidate to start on the 1st October.
