Retention Marketing Manager

Aquent is hiring a Retention Marketing Manager for a six month contract starting ASAP and based in San Francisco.

Paid Search and Remarketing – is responsible for providing development, and execution of Direct Response digital marketing retention programs for Paid Search and Remarketing; plus performance paid YouTube campaigns as well. In addition to maintaining performance of evergreen “always on” campaigns for our client's brand, this individual will support new product innovations and core hero products in order to increase revenue and share of wallet efficiently. Role requires agency management and close cross-functional collaboration with business partners in North America Marketing, as well as Creative, Social Media, Relationship Marketing, Channel Merchandising (Web), Legal, and Information Technology (IT) teams to create a strong, cohesive, seamless brand experience across all digital in the customer decision journey.

Responsibilities
Supports the Director of Retention Marketing and managing Paid Search and Remarketing campaigns across multiple channels and partners (Google, Bing, Gemini etc.). They will support all aspects of Paid Search and Remarketing campaigns, from strategy development to hind sighting; while managing relationship with digital agency in charge of day-to-day implementation/trafficking, optimization, reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can handle all details aspects of daily Paid Search, and Remarketing campaign activities, while also working in advance to prepare for campaign launches. This individual should possess a great depth of tactical knowledge in Paid Search and Remarketing services.

Helps contribute to strategy and campaign planning for cutting-edge digital marketing campaigns, working cross-functionally with Web team, Email, Display, Print, TV, Social Media and Relationship Program owners.
Work with external and internal creative resources to develop effective designs for all pre and post-click experiences, in conjunction with Web team
Manage key agency relationships on an ongoing basis
Analyze account performance landscape; strategize Paid Search and Remarketing campaign plans for brand accordingly
Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and manage agency to meet agreed upon sales and Return of Investment (ROI) goals.
Create reports and presentation of results for Retention Marketing Director, Executive Leadership Teams, and cross –functional partners
Perform granular traffic and conversion analyses to gain insight into keyword, ad, and landing page performance, in conjunction with Web team
Develop and maintain understanding of marketplace dynamics and key players, and communicate to internal partners including Marketing, Web team and senior management
Keep up-to-date with new opportunities in the Paid Search and Remarking landscape; work with internal and external teams to get new programs implemented which drive positive results.
Engage with cross-functional teams managing SEO. Share relevant Paid Search findings and ensure complimentary SEO best practices are put into practice

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
4-6 years of experience developing and executing results-oriented digital marketing programs
Agency experience (familiarity working for and/or with agencies)
Goal oriented, data-based thinking
Experience in day-to-day management of Paid Search and Remarketing campaigns for brands and products (experience managing paid YouTube campaigns a plus)
Familiarity with SEO and its relationship with marketing and brand building
Can fluently translate business objectives, digital marketing goals and campaign results, and online customer insights into impactful, innovative band-appropriate digital solutions
Excellent written and verbal skills, knowing when and how to adjust tone and message to appropriate audiences
Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver multiple products or services concurrently under time constraints.
Effective partner management, negotiation, and operational skills with strong results orientation and efficiency mentality. Should be comfortable working in a fast pace environment; navigating ambiguity and last minute changes
Strong attention to detail
Experience with DoubleClick, Coremetrics, and Tealium tracking preferred.
