Retail/Direct Marketing Specialist

Our client, a leading retailer in the telecom industry, is looking for a Retail Marketing Specialist with DM experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both physical retail and e-commerce and will have a solid background with both traditional and online marketing. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a growing organization!

Job Duties:
- Leads execution of marketing campaigns that drive customers into retail doors.
- Helps lead and execute print and digital direct consumer marketing.
- Provides copywriting for web and print materials.
- Works with team to increase our social media presence and identify strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensures timely execution of marketing programs and campaigns.
- Partner with store managers to develop relevant community-based outreach/marketing programs relevant for each location.
- Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an
effective working relationship.
- Develop and follow a merchandising plan-o-gram to maintain premium retail standards.
- Reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Proactively investigate and provide feedback on competitive marketing, product and store fixture tactics.
- Develops new business building ideas and presents recommendations to management.
- Assists in a variety of other ad hoc marketing projects.


Required Skills
- Proven track record in executing marketing campaigns that drive customers into retail doors.
- Minimum 4+ years of online/offline marketing and merchandising experience required.
- Experience in marketing retail into local communities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism or related field
- Candidate should be very creative, with a flair for writing exciting, persuasive copy.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Project Management experience is preferred.
- Well versed in social media platforms as well as SEO programs and trends.
- Good communication skills, collaborative work style. Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
