If this sounds intriguing, then we’d like to talk to you about a temporary role on a new team with one of our leading E-Commerce Retail companies focused on a significant business opportunity in early stages.

They're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic Associate Vendor Manager (AVM) to join their team in a temporary role. The AVM will leverage project management skills and demonstrate ownership over key deliverables. A successful candidate for the AVM position will have a natural affinity for project management, shall be motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and will have an interest in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will also be intellectually curious, have a goal-oriented approach, and be a great communicator. The candidate should have strong excel skills and be able to process data/trends comfortably. The manager needs someone who can jump in and help the team onboard/sign up all the new vendors they have in their queue (several hundred). This requires a lot of time/effort. The contractor will be the vendor on boarding specialist for the team.

The contractor will be calling/emailing the vendors, taking them through the onboarding process, and using Excel to track it all. The contractor will need basic but solid Excel skills. No pivots or vlookups, but comfortably entering lots of data and doing sorts/filters/other formatting. The work will be collaborative with other team members, but also will be heads down at times, and will are do a lot of things/processes manually.

Temporary assignment will include performing the following tasks:
Demonstrate to vendors the value and services offered by having their assortment available through the Company's Retail site.
Communicate with multiple vendors on a daily basis to initiate the process for adding products.
Manage vendors through the process of adding selection to ensure products are on boarded correctly and that targeted selection gets added.
Troubleshoot problems around product receiving or compliance.
Help to ensure that they are always in-stock for their customers.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong excel skills
Microsoft Office knowledge
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills
