My client is seeking creative, goal-oriented and a highly entrepreneurial person to join their exciting and fast-paced team. They are heads-down focused on growing and developing a smart assortment of brands and providing easy access to fashion, within the best possible shopping experience for their fashion customers. They're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic Associate Vendor Manager (AVM) to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn the buying function and eCommerce business from an experienced team.

The AVM will leverage strong project management skills, with full ownership over key projects and initiatives. Within the first year, he/she will be given the opportunity to manage customer-facing detail page content, execute against larger project initiatives, and drive process improvements for the entire team. An AVM who successfully executes against these projects will be given the opportunity to own a portion of the Watch P&L and manage vendor accounts.

A successful candidate for the AVM position will have a natural affinity for project management, shall be motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where every idea is heard, and will have an interest in working collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams. The successful candidate will also be intellectually curious, have a goal-oriented approach, and be a great communicator, with a keen understanding of customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Experience using Excel and other tools to analyze a business
1+ years in buying, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis and/or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong database and computer skills
1+ years of retail and/or online experience preferred

Must have skills: Strong communication, written and verbal), Excel skills, Problem solving, Bias for Action

Soft skills or leadership principles: Maturity, professionalism
