Retail Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator who can organize Retail & Partner Sales and Marketing activities.  The Coordinator will work directly with team management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively, 

This position is a key support for Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and is responsible for the coordination of sales, marketing activities and communications to achieve sales goals. 

Preference will be given to those candidates with administrative experience in retail sales, marketing and communications.

Typical Deliverables​

- Assist in the effective, timely communication between Marketing, and Sales Planning teams to ensure consistent execution of marketing and sales programs

- Assist with Sales & Marketing team strategies and implementation of programs

- Participate in planning sessions related to launch activities, ongoing advertising and promotional activities

- Provide support in the execution of annual product launches

- Support execution of marketing and sales programs 

- Coordinate internal/external meetings and planning sessions

- Attend meetings, record detailed notes/takeaways and share meeting minutes with attendees

- Coordinate day-to-day contact with internal and external partners

- Coordinate materials and asset delivery to internal/external partners

- Verify marketing materials meet established standards and guidelines of our partners

- Assist in the documentation of retail advertising and promotional calendar 

- communicate key deliverables and timelines

- Manage and maintain retail partner database

- Partner with Finance to track  and maintain budgets, spend, promotional activity

- With Supply Chain, maintain retailer inventory and sales reports

- Coordinate management of ad hoc marketing and advertising requests

- Coordinate retailer communications through a regular cycle of direct telephone, e-blasts, retailer and partner websites, affiliate programs and promotional outreach;

- Monitor, track and report on competitive pricing, merchandising and activities

- Develop and maintain product lists for each product and partner to ensure relevant, effective, communications with client's retail partners

- Must use discretion and judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information

Technical/Functional Skills

- Retail marketing/operations knowledge or experience

- Familiarity with digital and marketing channels (deleted standard)

- Exemplary oral and written skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite / Office 365

- Bilingual English/French is an asset

- Problem solving and analytical skills

- Maintain confidential information

- Must use discretion and judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
