Our athletic retail client is seeking a seasoned Retail Project Manager to manage a NYC store project, including managing day-to-day construction and interaction with architects/engineers/in-house designers and others in the field. The nature of the work is focused on presenting and merchandising product to consumers. This person will lead development and administration of global Retail regarding policies and procedures with input from geography on best practices; ensure consistency and training within geographies; secure best market mapping tools for Real Estate teams; develop standard approaches to utilizing tools and rollout to geographies; develop consistent review process for all new potential real estate projects; coordinate with global finance and PMO on approval process and lead monthly review; create processes and tools for geographies to ensure consistent fleet reviews that have all the relevant evaluation criteria for global real estate; lead the geographies in the review process; decide on changes and updates to measures of performance

Skills:
10 years experience including all phase of real estate and store construction process; team leadership experience. Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

10 years experience with client side or landlord side - corporate side experience preferred

Good communication skills - written and verbal

Good diplomacy in sensitive situations

Ability to travel

Education:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 8 or 9 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs.
