Retail Marketing Manager (Cosmetic Fixturing)

JOB SCOPE:
Project management position with responsibilities in planning, developing and execution of the Cosmetic
merchandising unit related to seasonal and new product programs from conceptual stages through launch and
product life cycle. Duties focus on Cosmetic Fixturing Merchandising unit execution, tracking, inventory
management and business analysis.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

1. Key account responsibility for the development and alignment of Cosmetic Planograms, new fixturing
elements and seasonal shelf merchandising and new door guidelines. Manage retailer key deliverable due
dates and communicate with cross­functional partners to ensure deadlines and met and broadly understood.
2. Effectively execute all Cosmetic Merchandising Unit Strategy Plan programs to achieve stated objectives
regarding revenue, profitability, and market share. Assist in managing development alignment and execution
of seasonal shelf merchandising and new door guidelines for key retailers.
3. Lead the Analyst syndicated data (IRI), other market research and internal sales reports; continuously monitor
competitive activity; recommend adjustments to strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
4. Create and showcase planograms. Leverage Space Management Program to show product flow, IRI data
and key retailer cosmetic wall evolution.
5. Track and maintain budgeted financial targets including fixturing elements, graphic, merchandising and new
program costs.
6. Work closely with Fixturing Manager/Marketing/Sales Strategy teams to ensure all wall strategy plans are
consistent with brand objectives. Coordinate plans, including planograming, graphics and merchandising.
Ensure that a cohesive and consistent look and feel is carried out on all Cosmetic Walls ensuring a strong
brand presence.
7. Evaluate cosmetic wall performance against planned objectives for consumption, shipping, cost of goods,
competitive activity and spending; recommend corrective action where appropriate.
8. Drive alignment with third party vendors to ensure key retailer deliverables are met.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Forecast, track and manage inventory for cosmetic fixturing elements
2. Assist in the preparation of all brand presentations, including Business Plans and retailer presentations. 3. Assist the Cosmetic Fixturing Manager in collaborating with a wide variety of functional areas such as Sales,
Global Design, Market Research, Finance and Operations.
4. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree with a preferred emphasis in Business Administration and/or Industrial Design from a four­year
college or university.

Minimum Experience:
One year of related business experience, including:
1. Experience in the Health and Beauty industry (HBA) and/or Retail Merchandising/Design.
2. Experience in the packaged goods industry
3. Experience in space management preferred. 4. Experience in developing and managing budget

reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach
with hands and arms and to move within and between the buildings. A computer terminal is used to access,
input, and retrieve data. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Occasional travel is required.
