RETAIL COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

CONTRACT: 2 MONTHS

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL RETAIL COMMUNICATION COORDINATOR! **

This position supports the needs of the store operations and communications departments and executes communications initiatives for the Retail Division. Communication initiatives include: daily communication to store teams and managing of Store Calendar.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Develop and implement daily communication to the stores
• Create realistic timelines and follow-up with cross-functional partners to ensure all deadlines are met
• Strong attention to detail to ensure key milestones are not missed
• Coordinate communications with cross-functional teams, field and external vendors
• Draft and post all store communication adhering to Communications Style Guide standards, which ensures a consistent brand voice is used at all times
• Manage the Store Calendar
• Send calendar to cross-functional business partners for edits weekly
• Manage edits submitted by business partners
• Upload calendar weekly for stores to view
• Understanding of retail business, store operations, and retail training programs
• Excellent customer service


MUST HAVE:
• Education: Bachelor‘s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience: Two to four years of retail communications or copywriting experience.
• Excellent written and communications skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Project Management:
-Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from strategy to execution.
-Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently while achieving all deadlines.
