Results Planner

The primary role is to support the wider agency team (client service, planning, creative) and clients in the development of comms strategies. We are an integrated agency and while the majority of the work we now complete for clients tends to be digital the planner will also need to have experience across both online and offline channels.

In addition to strategic development the Results Planner will (working with the account team) take day-to-day control of all execution, data and results aspects of campaigns. This will include initial data processing in Excel, campaign set-up in eCircle, coordination of campaigns with account team, results analysis and presenting of results to clients.

The planner will also have some responsibility in helping train the wider agency team (and clients as required) in all aspects of planning related to data, digital and results and supporting the Head of Results in developing new products/services.

Key requirements

The appointed Results Planner will have the following:

• At least two-three years agency experience in a data or comms planning role
• Solid understanding of data and the use of stats in marketing (from a planning perspective – we’re not looking for a statistician)
• Experience in developing/delivering comms strategies for online, offline and integrated campaigns as part of a wider team
• Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience of using an eCRM system such as eCircle
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills

Nice to have, but not essential, includes:

• Working knowledge of SAS and/or SQL
• Some experience with HTML and CSS
