Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator is eager to learn the ins and out of the research process in order to facilitate all studies, handling multiple studies of different formats and schedules at once. He/she will leverage a wide range of recruiting methods to recruit research participant candidates and 
coordinate all logistics for the participant & the researcher. 

Key job responsibilities of the Research Coordinator include: 

  1. Participant Recruiting 
    1. Support the planning process of all research studies, including participant outreach, screening, scheduling and incentivizing. 
    2. You solicit, identify, and prepare appropriate candidates to participate in research studies. You scrutinize study specifications and planned recruiting criteria to ensure quality data is gathered from the right people. 
    3. You are proactive in consistently and promptly updating & managing the database of attendees for all research studies. 
    4. You innovate on our use of data, reporting and tools to improve strategies, outreach and effectiveness in delivering quality participants. 
  2. Research Coordinating 
    1. You consistently demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and have the ability to manage multiple recruitment tasks simultaneously as well as accommodate the unexpected. 
    2. You consistently seek out and communicate with all stakeholders regarding recruitment status and task deadlines, asking questions when you are unsure or need support. 
    3. You are proactive in consistently and promptly updating & managing the database of attendees for all research studies. 
    4. You grow positive working relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels. 
  3. Lab Maintenance 
    1. You check, test and activate A/V equipment and proper inputs/outputs before all test sessions and/or every week. 
    2. You successfully and consistently keep labs clean, stocked & organized in regards to all furniture, supplies & equipment. 
    3. You are consistently prepared to control equipment & recordings during sessions and provide any in-session assistance.
