Reporting Analyst

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Build Strategic MIS for Sr. Management to report on profitability and effectiveness of credit risk management policy and strategies.

• Design and build reports to monitor credit risk and improve business profitability in the areas of underwriting, credit line management and authorizations for consumer and small business lending.

• Improve the quality and the value of Reports using better delivery methods, data visualization and more strategic information.

• Build Model Validation reporting.

• Analyze customer level information to determine the effectiveness of credit policies and recommend necessary changes to improve profitability.

• Innovative use of data and processes to improve risk management and the customer experience

• Analyze portfolio trends to deliver strategic business insight from internal and external data.

• Communicate concise and actionable findings from vast amounts of data to Sr. Management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related quantitative discipline

• 4+ years proven credit risk analytics experience, or equivalent

• Proficiency in SAS, SQL

• Experience with reporting tools like Tableau and QlikView a plus.

• Must be an organized analytical thinker, with the ability to perform a detailed, fully considered analysis.

• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills a must including the ability to explain and/or present analysis.

• Must have good judgment with the demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.

• Aptitude and willingness to roll-up the sleeves and get involved in the details.

• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
