Reporting Analyst

Our client is looking for a Reporting Analyst in their DC office for a 4 month contract, Pay is $20-25/hr DOE, must have solid reporting and analytics skills using Excel and SQL, must be able to create pivot tables and execute queries.

Position Summary:
As a reporting analyst in a fast-paced production reporting department, this individual will produce and distribute analytic reports on customer operations activity, primarily quality monitoring and sales.


Quality monitoring reports require consolidating data from multiple MS Excel files and formats and entering data into “end result” files which use complex formulas to generate summary results.


Sales reports require basic SQL query knowledge, as well as data management and processing in MS Access and MS Excel.


MS Excel Pivot tables are used to create final data presentations views, as well as allow flexibility for end-users to customize reports.


This position requires working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including program managers, external vendors, and other reporting analysts on frequently changing business needs.


This role is approximately 20% data collection and consolidation, 60% report production and development (some individually and some jointly with other business stakeholders), 20% operational review and analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interface with program mangers and vendor managers on required report content
Respond to inquiries on report content
Create and modify production reports as needed based on changing business needs
Support ad-hoc reporting requests which provide custom views of available data
Provide analysis on key performance measures included in reports
Participate in joint reporting development projects with related departments
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2 to 3 years professional experience in an analytic reporting role
Customer Service and Call Center experience highly preferred

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Understanding of SQL query language highly preferred
Understanding of basic networking concepts and functionality
