We are rapidly expanding its focus on growing our overall local omni-channel business in markets throughout North America. We are seeking seasoned professionals to drive and execute business strategies with merchants in each of our core markets. This role is primarily responsible for collaborating with local sales leaders and product solutions teams to ensure successful go to market for designated merchants and deliver on core KPIs.

The right candidate will be a fast and nimble strategic thinker who can execute and who has the core skills necessary to deliver merchant success in an independent and fast-moving environment. The role reports to the head of sales in specific region.

Specific job responsibilities include:
• Engaging merchants: In partnership with sales leader, engage merchant decision maker in solutions-oriented dialogue to define and address business needs – building trust, confidence, loyalty, and close partnership with each merchant specified. Driving overall relationship post-sales.
• Partnering with sales leaders, deployment and solution teams: ensure a successful go to market with PayPal solutions for each merchant through collaboration with core internal/external partners to achieve defined success. Identifying core themes, product needs, and merchant direction, to help create local merchant showcases.
• Resolution management: resolving urgent merchant-specific issues by partnering with PayPal cross-functional partners and merchant to ensure swift resolution and merchant success.
• Opportunity assessments / business requirements: collaborating with the product and marketing teams to develop business cases and align to the overall strategy to achieve defined success
• Sales Driven Results: managing and driving merchant relationships to achieve desired goals - own and drive the business results leveraging product, marketing, and others to ensure goals are met.
• In-depth knowledge of local markets: ability to assess current market and competitive environment

Qualifications:
• 7+ years with proven sales/partnership success in ecommerce, mobile, and/or payments
• Executive presence with very strong communication, collaboration and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions.
• Ability to apply structured problem solving (taking a large, complex problem and breaking it down into components, determining players involving others as needed).
• Mobile and social media savvy
