Regional Marketing Coordinator (Events)

Our client, one of the country's largest banking and financial lending companies, seeks a self-sufficient/driven personality – a planner, executer, problem-solver – who “gets things done.” This opportunity is an 18-month role as Regional Marketing Coordinator.

The Regional Marketing Coordinator will work alongside a Marketing Strategist in planning and executing marketing activities within the Regional area. Initiatives include planning and managing events, sponsorship and conference activities, local advertising and PR, charitable giving, sporting and event hospitality, as well as other activities consistent with corporate positioning and marketing strategy.

Location/Hours:
• Position is based onsite in Charlotte, NC.
• Hours are 8:00- 5:00pm with some exceptions due to business entertainment, overtime eligible.
• Travel to other offices and venues required. Must be flexible to Travel 30-40%, particularly during the busy season: Jan, Feb, March, April.
• This is an 18-month position.


Role requirements include the following:
• **Must have high-end event planning experience, including, experience in dealing with very high-end patrons, donors, and exclusive unique events that target the affluent demographic.
• **Minimum 3+ years experience in a marketing-related position.
• **Must understand the wealth management business, client audience and professional community.
• Excellent project management skills: Strong communication, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail.
• Must be resourceful, creative and flexible, possessing a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Must be a team-player, enthusiastic, positive, polished, poised and professional in a highly professional business setting.
• Ability to work effectively with all company levels from senior executives to support staff.
• Ability to participate with senior management in setting a strategic direction for events and programs
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task; work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel when required (30-40% travel, mostly regional, throughout NC and TN).
• Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working with the Marketing Strategist, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities within a regional area, including but not limited to:
• Planning and execution of all aspects of events run by U.S. Trust, including invitations, securing attendance, managing events calendar, working with support partners on production and mailing of invitations, venue selection, set-up, on-site logistics, budgeting, day-of-event management, etc.
• Execution of marketing plan within budget and corporate guidelines, including implementation of sponsorships, charitable contributions, advertising and PR Management of budget; utilization and compliance with all tracking and reporting systems to provide accurate and timely data.
• Analysis and reporting of results and program effectiveness; utilization of contact management system for list generation, tracking, analytics and reporting.
