As a Quantitative User Experience Researcher, you will evaluate the performance of our algorithms though quantitative evaluations.
You will work closely with engineers and proactively learn about and explore the unique qualities of a new project's hardware and software. Your responsibility includes designing data collection protocols, implementing software to extract performance metrics from the collected data, helping defining performance evaluation metrics, and analyzing data. You will communicate your findings variety of audiences, from designers to low level signal processing engineers effectively to accelerate the development of the project's technology.
Design and execute data collection protocols for project functionalities
Analyze data to understand the performance and provide feedback to other teams on potential improvements of algorithms
Help implementing automated evaluation system to accelerate the evaluation cycles
Communicate with both technical and design oriented audience effectively
Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of professional (or equivalent) data analysis
2+ years of professional experience in designing and conducting user studies
2+ years of professional experience in C/C++ and/or Python
Ability to communicate findings to a wide variety of audiences effectively
Data analysis experience with real time series data
Experience in using statistical software (e.g., R or Matlab)
Basic understanding in interaction design
