Quality Assurance Engineer Automotive

We are looking for QA Engineer with a proven track record of delivering on user acceptance testing, who is capable of learning functions of the sites, testing on multiple devices, and documenting test cases.
Candidates will be comfortable in an Agile environment. The right candidate will design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases. S/he will find bugs, defects, and verify fixes, validate and document completion of testing and development.

Responsibilities:

 Work closely with developers and designers in an action oriented Agile engineering

organization to plan, build and test high quality and high performance components of our

digital media deployment product.

 Work with website platform to identify use case scenarios and create and execute test plans to

validate those use cases.

 Work together with the whole project team to validate the quality of software releases.

 Attend status meetings with partner vendors for root cause analysis

 Identify test automation opportunities and tools to automate both unit and functional tests.

 Find and report product usability issues, defects and incompatibilities.

 Design and maintain desktop/mobile (tablet & phone) based test processes.

 Help develop test standards and procedures.

 Be a contributor to the development of the QA test frameworks.

 Coordinate all test activities.

 Assume and maintain the overall Test Strategy & Plan for the

 Map Integration & System test cases to business requirements in the Requirements.

 Contribute to the long-term testing objectives and strategy for the

 Provide specific test data requirements to the Technology Manager

 Plan, create, maintains, and execute all Integration and System test cases and scenarios.

 Develop test artifacts including plans, procedures, test cases, defects, and test evidence.

 Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business teams.

 Coordinate test activities and test reporting with all teams.

 Identify defects, and track them in a defect management tool.

Qualifications:
Technology related education is strongly recommended.
3 - 5+ years of Internet/Website and Software QA experience in an OEM/automotive setting preferably.
Experience troubleshooting problems and isolating defects.
Must be a strong communicator.
Experience with testing multiple internet browsers on desktop & mobile devices.
Ability to work flexible hours to support application launch and production outages if necessary.
