Purchasing Coordinator

This role is responsible for executing all purchasing requests for the team in Oracle, including monitoring of the budget and source to pay process.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for details and a track record of managing large amounts of information.

Responsibilities
• Provide procurement support to both Communications and Public Policy team domestically and internationally
• Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders in Oracle Train team members on procurement process
• Work with managers to ensure completion of Statement of Work documents for all vendors
• Review and close out exhausted/completed purchase orders on a monthly basis
• Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve defective invoices
• Maintain a database tracking the following:
- Pending/existing vendor contracts (PSA, SOW)
- Retainer fees and schedule Assist Policy team with lobbying contribution reports on a quarterly basis
• Track, manage and maintain team's budget - partnering with Finance on their projected spends, monthly accruals and budget reallocations on a quarterly basis
• Miscellaneous administrative support, ad hoc projects, expense reports

Skills:
• 2+ years purchasing or database management experience, advanced Excel user, Outlook, Oracle
• Ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively and succinctly with people at all levels
• Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to work with confidential information.

Highly motivated team player that can work well under pressure.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Education:
Bachelors Degree
