PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

You will have a wide range of responsibilities across Our Client Home Entertainment Group UK which will focus on agency management, logistics and title campaign activity

Your time will be divided between projects with an anticipated split ratio of

60% (Games) and 40% (Theatrical New Release, TV, Fam Ent)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1) Manage assigned title activity and associated budget across Games, Theatrical New

Release, TV and Family Entertainment product.

2) Liaise with the UK marketing managers and product managers to ensure strategy is aligned across the campaigns.

3) Assist with UK Publicity events, which will include demo events and game developer and

talent tours, premieres, consumer events, junkets and in-store signings. Talent handle when required.

4) Liaise with relevant account personnel at each of WB’s agencies to implement campaign

strategy and approve any agency generated creative materials

5) Oversee the publicity interns in the distribution of creative assets and day to day campaign activity

6) Maintain a strong working relationship with the Burbank offices to secure materials, approvals and ensure creative and legal guidelines are met.

7) Maintain and develop relationships with key UK media

8) Evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns on a regular basis by analysing budgets,

advertising equivalency values and return on investment.

9) Continue to develop the online publicity metrics dashboard in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager

10) Ad hoc projects as agreed

DEPARTMENTAL SUPPORT:

1) Support WHEG Customer Marketing Managers to ensure retail accounts are supplied with

relevant materials across all windows.

Skills required:

• Understanding of PR campaign structure and media environment.

• Effective interpersonal skills - able to work with people at different levels within the

organisation

• Self-motivation - able to work on own initiative and be persistent, patient and pragmatic

• Team working - able to work within a matrix organisation

• Flexibility - able to cope with a number of varying tasks and different people at one time

in a rapidly changing environment

• Time Management - able to deal with a number of projects simultaneously, without

missing deadlines

• Computer literacy – comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet

research.

• Understanding of Post-production techniques for creation of AV material would be

beneficial.

• Analytical skills and close attention to detail.

• Minimum 3 years experience in publicity
