Public Services Marketing Content Manager

Description:
Responsibility for developing and managing the global content program for three public service industry groups. This includes assessing and integrating existing industry specific content pipelines from the three industries as well as integrating the Delivering Public Service for the Future messages and examples deeply and consistently throughout all pieces. Specifically, the lead is expected to form and share opinions on pipeline gaps, enhance the quality (provocatively) and usability of each piece, identify channel leverage opportunities, stakeholder management across the three industries both on the marketing and business side, facilitation of the editorial review board and reporting. This role will be expected to manage multiple stakeholders and be able to contribute both strategic thinking and hands-on marketing experience and effectiveness to the content development process.
The job reports to the Global Marketing Director and will work with industry/regional marketing, research and media teams. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation for a multi-channel marketing strategy are a must for this role.
Key Objectives:
-Align new and existing industry content agenda with business services and market issues as identified in the industry strategies.
-Build and manage the content pipeline for use in issue based marketing campaigns and business development purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop content calendar and identify market content gaps that alight with the marketing strategy
-Shape content and supporting the development of the research agenda
-Identify, build, train and manage resources and third party service providers (agencies, writers, designers)
-Define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of content and the program
-Manage editorial review board including shape and approve materials, facilitate calls and reporting
-Facilitate visibility of the program and executive engagement
-Collaboration with multiple stakeholders: industry IMD?s, marketing teams, media, office of government relations and legal
-Continuous program improvement: Establish tools and business processes to strengthen program
-Ensure that all global marketing policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree or similar University Degree
-Significant experience in integrated marketing

-Strong experience in stakeholder management and working in matrixed environments.
-Proven experience in message development.
-Strong oral and written content development and presentation skills.
-Significant experience in content development.
-Experience in digital marketing including social media.
-Experience in metrics based marketing programs and capturing/articulating MROI.
-Experience with Salesforce or similar sales/marketing/support tracking systems.
-Broad overall business acumen, industry knowledge.
-Solid leadership skills - team building, supervision, mentoring and managing of diverse and virtual teams.
-Able to influence leadership within large, matrixed organization through relationship building and executive-level presence.
-Thrive on working in intense, deliverable-driven and deadline-driven environment.
