Highly talented RFP writer who creates bold, strategic, and persuasive business-to-business (B2B) copy for proposal and marketing copy that furthers the company’s position as a health care leader. The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff members and internal business partners/subject matter experts to develop innovative content while maintaining our brand standards.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years as a marketing (non-technical) copywriter. Health care/B2B experience preferred.
Top 3 skills needed to succeed in this position: Able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines, logic and reasoning, and proactive problem solver.
Top 5 daily responsibilities: Copywriting, research, critical thinking, generating benefit-driven copy and team meeting.
Top 3 personality characteristics: Attention to detail, team player, and ability to take responsibility for projects.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree required

Essential Functions
• Writes effective, compelling proposal copy. Develops high-quality, error-free copy under tight deadlines. Ensures proposal content supports the company’s overall brand positioning.
• Gathers information from multiple resources to aid in development of new responses.
• Submits, reviews, and evaluates related database language and develops new and/or updates to existing database content to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and consistency with business marketing strategies and overall company positioning.
• Analyzes RFPs, works with senior team members, sales/account management teams and SMEs to develop strategic proposal content to yield concise, comprehensive, accurate, and compelling bids.
• Exhibits critical thinking skills and strong ability to synthesize complex information, even when presented with multiple or conflicting data.
• Demonstrates a high level of expertise for the health care marketplace.
• Develops a thorough understanding of topics that differentiate Kaiser Permanente from the competition.
• Proactive and creative problem solver.
• Smoothly incorporates data into marketing copy to provide credible proof for claims.

Collaborates with internal business partners
• The ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues in different roles, departments, and locations.
• Works closely with internal business partners and subject matter experts to understand their needs and translate them to effective marketing materials.
• Sets and meets deadlines in very busy department.
