Proposal and/or Book Project Coordinator/Manager

Our client is short staffed and needs help on a high profile project! Proposal and/or Publishing Project Coordinator/Manager needed for short-term project.

Duration of Job: Starting December 15th through the week of January 12th. Approximately 20 hours per week during all weeks except the weeks of January 5th and 12th you will work 40+ hours.

Description of project: Our client is putting together 6-7 briefing books for C-Level delegates attending an upcoming Global Conference. While this may sound like something for an Executive Assistant, our client needs someone who is more project oriented. The successful candidate needs to be extremely detail oriented, willing to ask questions, can multi-task, is a critical thinker and is flexible in terms of working hours. Near the end of the project, there will be some weekend work.

RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
• Excellent project manager
• Be a critical thinker
• Flexible on schedule, ability to work 4-5 hour days maybe a little less at the beginning of the project and then the weeks of January 5th and 12th work 40+ hours
• Successful experience with version control
• Willing to ask questions if something doesn’t make sense
• Critical thinker – ensuring the briefing books are put together in a chronological order that makes sense to the person using the briefings
• Some of the briefings are printed out and put in binders, others are an electronic version, or a notebook – no matter what – all of these need to be error free and maintain the highest standard for the team (every version will still have an electronic form that can be edited)
• Skilled in organizing Word docs with page numbers, all in order, etc.
• Advanced MS Word skills
• Understand there might be changes mid-stream and need to make those changes and ensure they are done in all briefing books
• Skilled in a variety of features of Word including inserting files into Word
• Comfortable working with JPG’s, PDF’s, and PowerPoint files
• And, most of all, extremely organized and detail oriented!
