Support efforts of writers across Core, Promotional and Brand teams

Proofread UX and promotional copy: checking grammar, logic, business mandatory content and branding

Edit promotional ads and UX copy to ensure clear, concise, conversational copy exists in all experiences

Be on call for high-priority jobs

Assist in coordination and fact-checking as needed for Sears home page, content-rich experiences, etc.

Along with team members, be a quality control advocate for experiences

Write promotional banner ads in a production-style environment under tight deadlines

Be a customer experience advocate first and foremost

When making recommendations, back them up with guideline information and/or best practices

Bachelor’s degree preferred

5-7 years of experience in a production-heavy in-house department or agency

Knowledge of AP Style Guide is critical

Ability to adapt to brand style guides across Sears

MS Office proficient

Proofreading will be done digitally 95% of the time

Collaboration and flexibility is key

Need to keep your head in a crisis, along with a sense of humor!
