We're seeking a Proofreader to work in the award-winning, in-house creative services agency dedicated to the development of creative strategies and content to support key marketing communication efforts. The Creative Operations team serves as the nerve center of the agency and is responsible for providing a range of services including creative resource scheduling, traffic, proofreading, business affairs, and multimedia asset management across all businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities
 Complete projects from the Proofreader job queue, review and make relevant comments/notes in Timeworks in a timely manner.
 By paying close attention to detail, ensure all creative work adheres to high quality standards.
 Exhibit proficiency in the knowledge and skills essential to this role, keeping current on evolving nomenclature, grammar, usage and spelling.
 Coordinate with the Traffic Managers to manage and anticipate work flow needs on a daily/weekly basis as needed to ensure the essential projects are completed in a timely manner.

Technical Skills - 40%
 Master Disney style, tone and nomenclature. Ensure the group nomenclature resource document is updated promptly as new terms and products are developed or revised.
 Exhibit proficiency in the knowledge and skills essential to the role of Proofreader, keeping current on evolving grammar, usage and spelling.
 Strive to be current on the systems, work processes and procedures used in the department and be able to utilize them to meet operational objectives.

Interpersonal Skills - 10%
 Follow-up with Copy Writers to discuss issues, solicit feedback and develop good working relationships to better understand the business needs and issues
 Coordinate closely with fellow Proofreaders to ensure consistency, provide second reads and maximize throughput.

Business Acumen - 40%
 Apply Disney quality standards to all work reviewed to ensure work that is high-quality, free of errors, thorough and complete.
 Leverage available tools and resources.

Leadership - 10%
 Discuss all differences of professional opinion directly with fellow Proofreaders to reach consensus.
 Continually look for ways to improve work efforts in terms of quality (error free) and volume of work reviewed.
