Our client, one of the world’s largest international banks, is looking for 2 Proofreaders to work a 2 week contract from the 10th of February 2014. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large global brand with great name recognition. This booking could also potentially lead to future bookings.

The Proofreader will be expected to review change requests made to financial reports to ensure that they have been applied correctly. These changes are typically presented on an A4 sheet of paper and can be typed or handwritten. Additionally the role holder would be expected to read through the document and highlight formatting issues.

The purpose of doing this is to minimise the number of formatting and typing issues in financial reports.

The volume of change submissions can be high, the job holder would be expected to be able to apply themselves in a way that ensures the best possible check.

Role Context (The environment and operating conditions of the role including the extent of guidance and authority)
Extended hours of working may be required as submission volumes vary. It is expected that there will be 2 people performing the same role, a shift pattern may apply to cover the extended hours being worked by others.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:

Experience of proofreading financial reports.
