The Promotions Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of all online promotions. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Email and Promotions.
Key Job Responsibilities Include
Develop compelling and competitive promotions in order to drive online traffic, conversion and sales
Forecast and hindsight effectiveness of promotional campaigns
Collaborate with Inventory Management to ensure that promotion plans support financial forecasts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Production) to schedule and execute promotional plans.
Manage all promotional calendars and set up all promotions in promotional tool
Weekly reporting and analysis of business performance
Align with stores to ensure appropriate online support of strategic growth initiatives, business drivers and the Credit Card Program
Other assignments as required
Leadership and Technical Skills Needed for the Position include
Passion for the retail/fashion industry and a track record of being customer focused
Experience forecasting and interpreting key metrics to inform marketing strategies
Strategic thinking & solid analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills especially the ability to glean insights and tell a story from the data
Politically savvy with track record of navigating multiple levels of an organization
Ability to work in fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects
History of creating effective cross-functional partnerships and working through multiple levels of an organization
Minimum Qualifications are:
4+ years of marketing, finance, consulting, or banking experience
Strong excel and analytical skills
Omniture, Microstrategy, and CRM experience a plus
Job Title: Promotions Marketing Manager
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: July 31, 2013 (possibility of extending)
Work Schedule: M-F, 8 hrs / day
Top 3-5 required skills – Analytics, strong written & verbal communication skills
Top 3-5 daily responsibilities – Heavy excel work and analytics, calendar management, systems management, cross-functional collaboration and negotiation
Desired skills: History of using marketing to drive a business. Experience in Omniture, CRM, Microstrategy
