We are looking for you! Join one of the leading innovation labs as a UX Program Manager for our client, one of the leaders in consumer electronics.

This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension. Onsite in San Jose, CA.

Professional skills requirements:
- Guide a project team in driving for results - identify key activities, create schedule and resource estimations, work with lab leadership and product owners to reach project goals.
- Track and drive issues to closure for assigned feature areas.
- Follow the defined team and organization processes and policies.
- Provide timely, accurate status as required.
- Be an excellent teammate and support the lab leadership team as requested.
- Help monitor and improve team morale.
- Ability to interface with the User Research team to develop, run and evaluate end user studies and related research.
- Ability to work with all the stakeholders to review and revise product requirements, specifications and designs in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, including thinking on your feet.
- Ability to manage multiple independent features simultaneously.
- Demonstrate an appreciation and understanding of Design Thinking and great design in own work.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners.

Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development; experience shipping one product is required - two or more products is highly desirable.
- Preference given to experience working with Android platforms.
- Have experience in lean and agile types of development environments.
- Hold a track record of success in working across multiple time-zones and in a multi-culture environment.
- Must be comfortable with ambiguous design projects - work with interaction, graphic and GUI designers to develop and define user experiences.
- Must also be comfortable with well-defined design projects – help design team fill gaps between product management requirements and developer technical requirements; facilitate related trade-off discussions that impact user experience.

- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, project management or related focus is highly desired; equivalent work experience and certifications will be considered.
