Project/Program Coordinator
Location - Palo Alto, CA (onsite required)
Duration - 3 months, with option to extend and convert.
Type - Temp-to-Perm
Hourly Pay rate - DOE
Start - 2 weeks after offer extended

Our client, a leading consumer electronics company, is looking for a talented Project/Program Coordinator to assist the Partnerships & Business Development department. This role is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion into full time employee.

Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints. Role does not have responsibility over product development, but often requires a technical background in order to complete its overall project management responsibility. This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Program management/project management prior experience or similar
- Passionate about satisfying customers through exceptional service
- Referenceable experience in supporting the launch of internet or media service offerings
- Excellent writing skills and notable examples of documentation created to within a technical product organization
- Strong ability in problem solving and troubleshooting with a firm commitment to quality
- Relentless attitude in driving the completion of many activities required for a product launch
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and once through prioritization and needs based sequencing
- Adaptive and flexible to changing technologies, processes, and environments
- Possess excellent motivational, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on projects requiring back office BSS/OSS implementations
- Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio
- Collaborative team player with a “can do” first attitude
- Notable accomplishments in improving operational processes
- Have the ability to work under tight deadlines and attend evening meetings with Asia-based headquarters when necessary
- Possess sound knowledge of customer service planning concepts
- College degree or skills commensurate with skill requirements above
- Travel domestically and internationally – Less than 10%
