Project manager /Graphic Design

The position acts as primary contact with internal client groups, creative managers, production managers and distribution/fulfillment managers to initiate and develop production schedules and deliverables, including creative release, proofing/approval, print production, to the successful execution of all multi-channel Point of Purchase / visual merchandising materials

 Maintain centralized source for all project data and its application in print production planning relative to all bids, responses, cost metric data, product specifications
 Plan, develop and monitor effective POP print production programs against established best practices and procedures
 Analyze and interpret historical results data to plan and organize POP print production programs for marketing communications initiatives to promote the sales of company products and further the company’s strategic objectives
 Identify, obtain, and manage expenses within the work group to meet budget goals and objectives
 Provide training and guidance to internal creative groups, in-store merchandising agencies, and internal production specialists
 Promote a collaborative environment and effective teamwork to achieve goals and objectives
 Serve as an escalation point when issues and problems arise
 Develop strategic component sourcing plan leveraging industry-leading supplier base
 Standardize project component sizes for optimal press layout resulting in efficiencies and cost savings
 Ensure the on-time delivery and uninterrupted flow of materials to meet project requirements, integrating with production planning to manage the accuracy of forecasts, initial print quantities, and available inventories
 Advise internal creative team, creative agencies, print suppliers, and internal clients of changes in the project schedule, and realign accordingly

Consults with management, internal departments, and vendors to develop and implement POP communication plans. Manages planning and development of all corporate national direct, indirect, and B2B POP programs and recommends the best options to align, and integrate multiple POP print production methods and master schedules.

This position will be responsible for interfacing with internal workgroups, initiating print reorders based on the interpretation of inventory data and historical usage rates.



Qualifications:
• BA or BS degree in marketing, business administration or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years professional experience in print production, vendor management, and production planning
• 5+ years professional experience managing print production staff
• Strong interpersonal communication and articulation
• Strong budget management skills
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
• Expert MS Excel skills as well as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to learn proprietary software applications
