Our client, the Creative department of a Fortune 500 company is seeking an Art director to work both onsite and off for as-needed projects on their world class brand. Generally, we would be able to provide 1-3 weeks notice when projects come up.Develops design ideas from concepts through to fully worked out design solutions for presentations, sales support, point of sale, product literature, digital, and other marketing driven communication design activities. Work with a level of independence, according to the brief and creative vision and direction in close co-operation with the other members of the design team and the Senior Art Director / Creative Director. Must have the ability to work within tight deadlines and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility.
We are seeking candidates who are very conceptual and partner with clients and account teams to determine business needs, project requirements, project approach, cost and time estimates.
Designs and realizes design solutions, on basis of the agreed upon project brief and on professional orientation, with the business partners and in close consultation with the Senior Art Director/Creative Director
Able to understand & use a brand identity and translate into a range of materials
Able to use visual skills to answer a brief and have an interest and awareness in applying verbal skill/words in the design solutions
Works with a level of independence
Participates together with the design manager / Senior Art Director in defining project plan and scope
Prepares specifications for internal and external services
Briefs, directs and oversees photography, DTP, illustrators etc. according to the briefing and creative vision and direction
Prepares and maintains the relevant documentation
Minimum 5 years professional experience, preferably in the health care industry
Bachelor’s degree in Communication / Graphic Design or relevant design area
Good interpersonal and communication skills (at all levels in the organization)
