Project Mgr., Brand/Packaging

Our Client's reading device is the one of the best-selling products on the market. We are looking for a smart, experienced, results-oriented and data-driven Project Management marketing professional. This role will lead and execute end-to-end management of our client's reader product and packaging efforts. This role will work with internal and external teams to optimize the packaging value proposition and customer experience. This individual will have a key role in driving the sales and mass consumer adoption of our client's product.

Core responsibilities include:
· Support all aspects (strategic and operational) packaging creation process in order to achieve product goals.
· Own and drive all facets of the process including branding, cost negotiations, schedule management, approvals, research and analysis, refinement, etc.
· Partner with other internal functional groups.
· Create and write appropriate requirements, project plans, and strategy documents.
· Develop, supervise, report, and continually improve upon analytical success metrics.
· Understand business, marketing, partner and legal constraints and opportunities to drive the growth of the product.
· Proactively plan to address new market opportunities and react to unforeseen challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience in oral and written communication, multi-tasking, and quantitative analysis. This position also requires prior experience with presentation, organization, and/or project management. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years experience in consumer marketing with digital/high-technology consumer products

Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Excellent understanding of consumer brand marketing strategies especially in the digital and high-technology space.
• Excellent understanding of 'big-box' retail.
• Ability to aggressively create innovative consumer marketing programs that generate results.
• Experience creating and owning successful packaging or product programs
• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and expertise in brand building and marketing for a leading consumer brand.
• An advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or related field is preferred.
