Project Manager/Partner Relations

The Sr. Consultant, Partner Relations is responsible for driving best-in-class Marketing Vendor contracts and strategic future value through vendor relationship management and delivery of best-in-class services and products.

Drive strategic direction, identify efficiencies, and build competency model for non-agency vendor engagements, collaborating with marketing teams, sourcing professionals, contract managers, finance, IT, security and legal

Initiate and lead contract strategy (negotiations, cost savings, value-add capability requirements, renewals and expirations, program/IT alignment); drive decision-making with senior leadership and internal marketing teams for 50+ established and new vendors, $60M+ spend; includes often multiple new amendments and SOW's annually

Responsible for any required compliance reviews as liaison for Global Clearance and IT Security proactively mitigating through design and implementation of consistent process and governance, ensuring Marketing teams and vendors are current with guidelines, Policy updates, and risk assessments

Responsible for identifying project issues in a timely manner for swift resolution and recommending mitigation plans to keep the delivery on track; facilitates escalation and resolution of all Partner Relations issues

Accountable for project team implementation and execution of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) between Marketing teams, vendors, and governing teams

Lead successful adoption of new processes including design, communication, and training; design, create and govern standard contract templates

Design and manage playbooks, milestones and detailed project schedules

Drive, design, and deliver consistent sourcing reporting and governance; Manage report quality (reports such as status, spend, savings, and budget alignment)

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 2 years of marketing experience
• Expert knowledge of agreements / contracts processes & contacts; experience conducting competitive RFPs
• Strong problem solving skills with ability to understand and identify key strategic issues, and develop creative solutions to assignments
• Demonstrated track record successfully managing task-level details/issues on large transformational programs
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Analytical, results and detail-oriented professional who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels
• Proficient computer skills on Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and collaborative tools such as SharePoint.
• Analyze patterns and results, prepare and present audience-appropriate content in a manner that influences and drives the business to achieve strategic goals
• Must be comfortable and successful working in a dynamic environment and ability to effectively multitask
• Must be results oriented and customer focused
• Lean Six Sigma certification desired

Functional Accountability
Responsible for the leadership of a work group and/or development of broad programs or projects in support of organizational or area strategies; communicates & translates functional/operational goals into team goals; manages implementation of policies and procedures; typically reports to a (Director/Exec Dir) Band 5.

Individual Contributor Role
Functional Expert: Acts independently or member of a highly skilled technical team responsible for fulfilling complex business requirements with the implementation of reliable & efficient automated solutions; may be enterprise wide initiatives.

Manager of Projects: Responsible for all aspects of the development & implementation of more than one large project and provides a single point of contact for those projects - original concept thru final implementation.

Decision Making Authority
Receives broad guidance & is accountable for project or program results. Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Delegates work to lower-banded team members. Line of sight 1 to 3 years.

Work Complexity
Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity. Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Knowledge and Skills
Advanced skills within a professional discipline and general knowledge of other areas. Requires independent thinking. Demands full use and application of principles, theories, concepts and technologies.
